Henry the Hedgehog

Hi everyone I hoped you all liked my last post that had the free pattern for Sidney the Alien, I’ve been really busy recently with family life and learning to drive finally, had my first lesson a few days back and it was epic. I also got my ears pierced with my friend so kinda had to recover a bit from my ears aching lol.

So my latest pattern came about from no-where really, one day I was just sat with my book of patterns and started writing out one wanting to know what shape I’d get. So I started up with a quick pattern and it started going into a cone nose sort of shape and was starting to take the form of a mouse or hedgehog so I decided to continue with the pattern and make a hedgehog.  When I’d finished making the body for the hedgehog I spent the next few days adding strands of wool to make the spikes.

After all the spikes were added and I’d completed the entire thing I allowed my mom to name this little cutie and she named him Henry.

I may make this hedgehog a free pattern i'm not sure yet i'll see how i feel at a later date but the next project i have an idea for i'll make into a free pattern if it comes out right.

Hi guys so as promised here's my free pattern for you its for this little cutie

Sidney the Alien

I used Stylecraft DK wool in Pomegranate

This pattern is perfect for a beginner to get used to simple increase and decrease.

SC = Single Crochet

4.  *SC 2, INC 1* *Repeat to end*(24)
5-8. SC Around (24)
9. *SC 2, DEC 1* *Repeat to end*(18)

Cut out a small piece of felt, cut a across in the middle and place the safety eye through the felt and wool, secure it in place on the alien. Glue down the felt.

Template on how to cut the eye. Only cut where it shows the red lines in the middle

Dinosaur!!

My latest pattern I’ve made was again just a spur of the moment decision when one day I found some florescent green in my wool box, yes it’s not a usual colour to use but I wanted to finally find a project I could use it on and this was the result...

It’s a baby dinosaur  :)
